Become a Student Ambassador for the Romanian Higher Education
Are you a student passionate about education and cultural exchange? The Study in Romania Student Ambassador Program (SiR-SAP) is now open for applications!
Part of the “Romania towards 2030: Enhancing International Relevance through Internationalization of Higher Education” project, coordinated by UEFISCDI in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Research, this initiative aims to strengthen Romania’s position as a top destination for higher education.
We are looking for 10 dynamic and enthusiastic students to promote the Romanian higher education, study opportunities within Romanian higher education institutions and inspire prospective students from around the world as ambassadors of the Study in Romania brand.
Selection timeline:
Application launch: May 14, 2025
Application deadline: May 26, 2025 (16:00)
Evaluation & Pre-selection results: June 2, 2025 (16:00)
Interviews: June 10-11, 2025 (09:00-16:00)
Final selection announcement: June 13, 2025 (16:00)
The main benefits of ambassadors involve:
- Receive an official certificate of participation and acknowledgement of your contributions.
- Enhance your leadership, communication, and digital marketing skills.
- Build confidence through public speaking, content creation, and cross-cultural engagement.
- Participate in training sessions and educational events
- Participate in promotional events (webinars, education fairs) – if possible.
- Visit various university campuses to engage with students and promote student life in Romania
- Connect with education professionals, higher education institutions staff and peers from diverse backgrounds.
- Inspire prospective international students to choose Romania for their studies.
- Contribute to strengthening Romania’s position as a global education hub.
- Represent Romanian higher education institutions and share your authentic student experiences.
- Make an impact by helping shape the future of Romanian higher education and attract more international students to the country.
